In the Shadows of the Forest is a home for the stories that follow us out of the woods: an unfamiliar sound, a local legend, an encounter that never quite makes sense.
We make room for wonder without mistaking it for proof. Folklore is labeled as folklore. Personal accounts remain accounts. Real missing-person stories deserve sources, care, and humanity.
